0Renata Marques completed the public examination of the dissertation for the master’s degree in Communication Sciences in the area of specialization in Audiovisual and Multimedia on January 13, 2025, in the Meeting Room of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho. The research, entitled “Audiovisual as a Strategy for the Social Integration of Young Immigrants in the City of Porto: A Case Study of the Epifania Collective”, consisted of an action project that explored the potential of audiovisual as a tool for the promotion and social integration of young immigrants, based on the case study of the short documentary ‘Epifania’.

The dissertation was supervised by Alberto Sá and presented in a public test before a jury chaired by Luís António Santos, with the participation of Rosa Cabecinhas as examiner, all from the Department of Communication Sciences of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho.
