Daniel Noversa Featured in Sopcom’s GT Young Researchers

Daniel Noversa is currently the featured researcher by the Young Researchers Working Group of Sopcom. Sopcom (Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences) regularly recognizes young researchers by highlighting their contributions to the field of communication sciences.

This recognition is carried out through interviews, and in Daniel Noversa’s interview, details were shared about his academic and professional journey—from his time as a high school student, when he first showed an interest in research, particularly in journalism and historiography, to his current PhD studies in Cultural Studies.

Daniel Noversa Featured in Sopcom’s GT Young Researchers

The interview primarily focused on his work as a researcher at the Communication and Society Research Centre at the University of Minho and his role as a team member in the MigraMediaActs project.

His research focuses on sociology, intercultural communication, and visual and media culture, aiming to understand cultural and communicational dynamics in contemporary society. Additionally, he shared insights into his upcoming publications and ongoing projects.
