0The Communication and Diversity Seminar “Ways of seeing, ways of narrating: audiovisual and ancestry in Bahia“, organised by CECS in partnership with the Virtual Museum of Lusophony, took place on 26 October via zoom.
The seminar was led by José Roberto Severino, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Communication and the Multidisciplinary Postgraduate Programme in Culture and Society at the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil). The moderator was Isabel Macedo, Co-Pi of MigraMediaActs.
For two hours, a space was created for debate on memory, activism, cultural policies and resistance practices (such as Bahian candomblé) in the audiovisual context, especially in Brazil.
