0On 14 November 2023, another session of the Communication and Diversity Seminar took place in the ICS “Sala de Atos”, jointly organised by CECS and the University of Valladolid (UVa), Spain. The seminar focussed on the theme of “Media education against digital gender violence“. Members of the MigraMediaActs team presented papers at the event, as specified below:

Guided by the slogan #Edumedfeminista, the programme sought to reflect on the need and possibilities of media and digital education for equality and against gender violence. Among the topics covered in the programme were feminist digital activism in Portugal, media education with young people and minors and sexism in digital design.
